Serial Communication Channel Assignment (RS-485, RS-232C)
When the FX3U is replaced with the FX5UJ, the communication channel assignments that can be used change.
Change the communication channels specified with instructions and parameter settings so that these channels match the
specifications.
■FX3U communication channel assignment
A communication function expansion board and a special communication adapter can be used to connect up to two channels
of serial ports.
The configurable combinations are shown below.
■FX5UJ communication channel assignment
A communication board and a communication adapter can be used to connect up to two channels of serial ports.
The communication channel assignments are fixed regardless of the system configuration.
The configurable combinations are shown below.
Ex.
When a communication function expansion board connected to the FX3U is replaced with an FX5UJ communication board,
the communication channel changes from CH1 to CH2.
