<setting up the remote control to operate your cable box>
O Turn off your cable box.
O Choose the layer using the select button on the remot_ control:
V(.R-A or VCR-B
CABLE,
O While holding in the POVv_ER button on the remote control
enter the code number listed in the chart on the next page for
your brand of cable box. (If more than one code number is
listed, try the first one. If that code does not work, try tile next
one until you find the correct code.)
O Release the POWER button.
Press the POWER button again. Your cable box should turn on.
If the cable box turns on, your remote control is now set to
operate your cable box.
If'your cable box does not turn on, repeat the instructions above,
trying each code number listed for your brand of cable box.
