3. Turn the shaft end by hand to expand the jack until it is
held firmly in position.
4. After tightening the shaft as far as possible by hand,
tighten it by a further 90° using the bar to ensure that the
jack is securely retained.
5. Return the cover, carpet and seatback to its original posi-
tion.
