TROUBLE SHOOTING
• When the engine does not start in spite of above mentioned inspection, ask the distrib-
utor or repair factory for inspection.
1. Is stop switch turned to operation (I) position?
2. Remove spark plug. When it is soiled, clean or replace.
Confirm by pulling the starting knob slowly.
When compression is insufficient, check whether
tightening of spark plug is firm. If it is loose, retighten.
1. Is fuel cock open?
2. Close choke lever, pull starting knob several times then
remove the spark plug. When tip of spark plug is wet, it
is OK.
3. When fuel is not sucked, check fuel strainer for clogging.
(Cock with strainer cap specification only)
4. When engine does not start though fuel is sucked,
replace fuel with new one.

• Se il motore non parte nonostante l’ispezione di cui sopra, rivolgersi al concessionario o
all’officina di riparazioni per un controllo.
1. Il comando di arresto è in posizione operativa
(verso il basso) ?
2. Rimuovere la candela. Se è sporca, pulirla o sostituirla.
Verificare tirando lentamente la manopola di avviamento
Se la compressione è insufficiente, controllare se la candela
sia sufficiente-mente serrata. Se è allentata, serrare.
1. La chiavetta del carburante è aperta?
2. Chiudere la leva della valvola dell’aria, tirare
ripetutamente la manopola di avviamento, quindi
rimuovere la candela. Quando la sommità della candela
è bagnata, l’operazione è compiuta.
3. Se il carburante non viene aspirato, controllare il filtro
del carburante per verificare l’assenza di grumi.
(Soltanto chiavetta con filtro secondo specifica).
4. Se il motore non si avvia nonostante il carburante venga
aspirato, sostituire con carburante nuovo.

• Lorsque le moteur ne démarre toujours pas après avoir effectué l’inspection décrite ci-dessus,
demandez à votre revendeur ou à l’usine d’effectuer une inspection.
1. Est-ce que lÕinterrupteur dÕarrt est en position de marche
( I )?
2. Enlevez la bougie. Nettoyez-la ou remplacez-la si elle est sale.
Vrifiez-le en tirant lentement sur le bouton de dmarrage.
Lorsque le taux de compression est insuffisant, vrifiez si la
bougie est bien visse  fond. Si elle est desserre, resserrez-la.

Est-ce que le robinet de carburant est ouvert ?
2. Mettez le levier du starter en position ferme, tirez sur le
bouton de dmarrage plusieurs fois puis enlevez la bougie.
Si lÕlectrode de la bougie est humide, cÕest que tout va bien.
3. Si le carburant nÕarrive pas, vrifiez le filtre  tamis pour
voir sÕil est obstru. (Robinet avec filtre  tamis seulement)
4. Si le moteur ne dmarre pas lorsque le carburant arrive,
remplacez le carburant par du carburant non usag.

• Wenn der Motor nach oben durchgeführter Inspektion nicht startet, Fachhändler
oder Werkstatt mit der Inspektion beauftragen.
1. Ist der Stoppschalter in Betriebsposition (I)?
2. Die Zündkerze entfernen. Falls schmutzig,
reinigen oder ersetzen.
Durch langsames Ziehen an Startergriff bestätigen.
Wenn die Kompression unzureichend ist, prüfen,
ob die Zündkerze fest sitzt. Falls diese locker sitzt,
anziehen.
1. Ist der Benzinhahn geöffnet?
2. Den Chokehebel schließen, den Startergriff
mehrere Male ziehen und anschließend die
Zündkerze entfernen. Wenn die Spitze der
Zündkerze feucht ist, ist alles in Ordnung.
3. Wenn der Treibstoff nicht angesaugt wird, das
Treibstoffsieb auf Verstopfung überprüfen.
(Nur bei Hahn mit Siebverschluß)
4. Wenn der Motor nicht startet, obwohl der
Treibstoff angesaugt wird, den Treibstoff
austauschen.
