8. Cleaning of Fuel Tank
Remove the drain plug and clean inside the
tank in the following cases.
After running 300 hours or every two years
When water or dust enter in the tank
NOTE
- Remove the fuel from the filler opening
using a pump before removing the drain
plug.
- When the drain plug is removed, the
remaining fuel is drained; therefore, place a
drip pan under the drain plugs on both
sides.
- After cleaning the fuel tank, be sure to
tighten the drain plugs completely. Also,
check that the fuel is not leaking.

9. Maintenance of Coolant Water
If the coolant water of the radiator is handled
incorrectly, it shortens the service life of the
engine.
Inspection of Coolant Water
(1) A reserve tank is provided in the radiator and
adjusts the amount of coolant water in the
radiator. Perform inspection before operation
and supply coolant water if insufficient.
(2) Open the side cover on left and make sure
that the coolant water is within the range
between <MAX> (upper limit) and <MIN>
(lower limit) in the reserve tank.
(3) Supply coolant water if the reserve tank is
insufficient.

For burn prevention
- Do not open the radiator cap during
operation and immediately after
stopping the engine. Hot water blows
out, and it may cause a burn. Open the
cap slowly after the engine cools down.
