(5) Supply the coolant water to the <MAX>
(upper limit) of the reserve tank.
- When the coolant water is cooled, the
coolant water in the reserve tank is
sucked in, and the water level is reduced
in the reserve tank; thus, supply the
coolant water to the <MAX> (upper limit)
of the reserve tank.
- Use antifreeze “long-life coolant”
containing anticorrosive agent and
lubricating agent for the coolant water in
order to prevent corrosion inside the
engine and radiator.
NOTE
- Use freshwater for the coolant water. Do not
use muddy water or briny water.
- The coolant water may be frozen in the
winter, and it may damage the engine or
radiator. Mix it with antifreeze “long-life
coolant” for use.
- Read the instruction manual of the cleaning
agent thoroughly when using cleaning
agent for the radiator.
- Replace the coolant water and clean inside
the radiator every two years.
