      If the Mitutoyo Computer Hardware printer doesn't print, first, ensure the [PRINTER ON/OFF] switch is turned on. Press the switch again to activate it. Also, check for any paper jams or obstructions within the printer and remove them carefully using tweezers if necessary. Note that if the DP-1VR is in timer input mode with a short input interval (0.25 or 1 sec), the printer might automatically turn off.

      If your Mitutoyo Computer Hardware printing is too light and the device returns to the initial state, several factors could be responsible. Ensure you're using properly charged size AA Nickel Hydrogen (Ni-Mh) or Alkali batteries (LR6), not manganese dry cells. Check the battery pole seal for peeling or poor fitting and correct it if necessary. Verify that you are using the dedicated AC adapter 09EAA088 (100/115V) 09EAA088D (230V) 09EAA088E (230V UK) supplied with the DP-1VR and that the DP-1VR power supply is not connected to the measuring device; use separate power supplies. Confirm that the input voltage to the AC adapter is not too low (falls 5% or more than the rated voltage) and that the AC adapter is not sharing a power line with a high-voltage or large-current device.
