Based on the size and weight of the plane it’s typically considered to be apark flyer’class
model. As a result it’s best to fly the plane at a local park, schoolyard, flying field or other area
that’s large enough and free of people and obstructions. We recommend an area the size of at
least one football/ soccer field, however, even l arger areas are better suited and preferred
especially when learning how to fly. DO NOT fly in parking lots, crowded neighborhood
areas or in areas that are not free of people and obstructions.
We recommend flying over grass as it is
a much softer surface if a crash should
happen. S hort g rass i s better for
take-offs a nd l andings than h igh, s ince
high g rass c an c ause t he a ircraft to
make a head-on / flip and damage. An
ideal f light area a llows the launch and
landing o n a smoother surface ( like
asphalt) while t he a ctual f lying over
grass takes place.
Fly on spacious terrain, w ithout o bstacles
and thicket.
We recommend ying over grass as it is a
much softer surface if a crash should hap-
pen. Short grass is better for take-offs and
landings than high, since high grass can
cause the aircraft to make a head-on / ip
and damage. An ideal ight area allows the
launch and landing on a smoother surface
(like asphalt) while the actual ying over
grass takes place.
DO NOT y...
- in parking lots,
- crowed neighborhood areas
- or in areas that are not free of people and obstructions.
Only y at areas, where model plane ying is allowed and legal.
