WHERE TO
INSTALL CYCLOOP
• Check clearance distance by sliding Cycloop along all positions on the tube
making sure it doesn’t come into contact with any other parts.
• You can also try to turn Cycloop so the electronics side of the device faces away
from the tire/other parts.
• Make sure Cycloop is properly secured to the tube to prevent it from coming loose
and sliding on the tube.
• Make sure no cables/wires are on the tube you attach Cycloop to, otherwise it will
not be properly secured
• Be very careful attaching Cycloop to a Carbon bike frame, it can damage the
frame if too much pressure is applied.
Alternative locations: Seat Post or anywhere which will allow the Cycloop clamp to
have a secure attachment to the frame.
If installing Cycloop on a seatpost which has a quick-release clamp make sure to
replace the clamp with regular screws to prevent thieves from easily removing
the seatpost and Cycloop.
