  If your Monster Power Surge Protector's surge module is emitting a loud buzzing alarm, it likely means the module has experienced a voltage surge or spike. The surge module should be replaced. You can temporarily silence the alarm by pressing the Alarm Off switch; however, be aware that the surge module might no longer provide surge, spike, or over-voltage protection to the outlets.

Why is the Ground OK LED not on on my Monster Power Surge Protector?

  If the Ground OK LED on your Monster Power Surge Protector is not lit, there are a couple of potential reasons. First, the surge module might not be properly grounded. Check the ground wiring to the surge module, ensuring the ground wire is securely fastened. Second, the Display Off switch might be in the OFF position. Try pushing the Display Off switch to turn it on.
