• Do not use the heater in connection with a separate control timer, a separate remote control
system or other devices that automatically switch the device on. There is a risk of fire if the
heater is covered or incorrectly set up.
• A common cause of overheating is a build-up of dust and lint that finds its way into the heater.
Make sure that such build-ups are removed regularly.
• This product may be used by children over the age of 8 and by individuals with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided that
they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance and
understand the risks involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance. Do not allow children to clean and maintain the
product without supervision.
• Keep children under 3 years of age away from the product unless they are supervised at all
times.
• WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control room temperature. The heater
must not be used in small rooms occupied by people who cannot leave the room on their own,
unless constant monitoring is guaranteed.
• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 should only be allowed to switch the product on / off if
it has been placed in the intended normal operational position, and they are safely supervised
or instructed on how to use the appliance and understand the dangers.
• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 must not plug in, adjust, clean or maintain the appliance.
2.2 GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• CAUTION! Read all safety information and instructions. Failure to follow the safety information
and instructions may cause electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Ensure that water cannot get inside the appliance. Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids. Never expose it to rain.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug, mains cable or any other part of the appliance is
defective or damaged.
• Do not remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the mains cable.
• Never insert or remove the mains plug with wet hands.
• Do not use any electrical appliances in potentially explosive environments, e.g. in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Electrical appliances produce sparks that can ignite dust or
exhaust fumes.
• Do not use the heater together with other devices on a power strip.
• The plugs of electrical appliances must be compatible with the socket. Never change the plug.
Do not use any adaptor plugs with earthed electrical appliances. Original plugs and matching
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Use the cable only for its intended purpose. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the
electrical appliance. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
2.3 NOTES ON LOCATION AND SPACING
• Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface.
• Do not place the heater on a rug with a very deep pile.
• Only use indoors.
