5. FAN WORKS BUT THERE IS NO SPARK.
IN
Do the air pressure switch contacts
close as the fan runs? Check for
21v dc on both sides of air pressure
switch or on J4 at the PCB, black/
black (right hand pair).
Is there a pressure differential
of at least 1.4 mbar when
measured between the two test
points.
Is there a 230v ac
supply voltage to the
spark generator as
the fan runs, check J8
at the PCB, brown /
blu
e?
Remove the spark
electrode wires from
the spark generator. Is
there a spark between
the terminals on the
spark generator?
Replace the spark
generator.
Check that the tubes to the air
pressure switch are not kinked
or crossed. Top tube to P1 on
air pressure switch. Bottom
tube to P2 on air pressure
switch. If all connections are
Correct, then replace the air
pressure switch.
Check the venturi tube
for blockages caused by
insect contamination
(spiders egg sacks etc.)
also check flue for
obstructions or incorrect
fitting.
Replace the main PCB.
Check the wiring
and connectors. If
OK, replace the
spark electrode.
