1.(i)Switchthepower‘on’byturningtheEmergencystopbuttonclockwisetoreleasethe
safetylatch.Thedisplayisnowswitchedonandwillshowthestartupmenuas
shownbelow.
(ii)Movetheselectionswitchtothelefttoselect.Tools
(iii)Movetheselectionswitchdowntoselect.SetBladePressure
(iv)Pressthesystemswitchdown.
(v)Movetheselectionswitchtotheright,themachinewillactivateandthebladewill
movetotopdeadcenter.Thedisplaywillnowread BladeismovingtoTOPDEAD
CENTERBladePressureMayNowBeAdjustedSeeandthenchangetoread
OperatorsManual.
2.Raisetheexitguard
3.Usinga6mmallenkey,unlocktheshoulderbolts(labelledwithscaletransfer)
positionedateachendofthecreasingblade.
4.Turntheadjustmentcamtoadjustthebladepressure.Increasingthegradientonthe
scalewillincreasethebladepressure.
5.Ensurethattheshoulderboltsarelockedaftersetting.
