B-12 REGULAR INSPECTION
7. CLEANING THE SUCTION STRAINER IN THE HYDRAULIC OIL
TANK
If the suction strainer becomes clogged, pumps and piping may be damaged, resulting in
hydraulic unit failure. Clean the suction strainer at regular intervals.
<Cleaning interval>
Every 1000 hours of operation.
<Necessary tools>
• Spanner, monkey wrench
• Kerosene (for cleaning)
• Compressed air gun
<Procedure>
1) Turn OFF the main power.
2) Drain oil in the tank.
Refer to steps 3) - 6) in 13. "CHANGING FLUID OF HYDRAULIC TANK".
3) Loosen the hose band.
4) Disconnect the piping.
5) Remove the tank upper plate.
