Using the iron
1) Filling the tank
Before first use, remove all packaging, including the protective cover on the soleplate. Make sure the
iron is not plugged in. Set the variable steam switch
(1) to ‘O’. Fill the water tank (10) via the filling hole

Fill with the iron in a horizontal position to the MAX graphic on the side of the water tank.
IN HARD WATER AREAS, WE RECOMMEND A MIX OF 50% TAP WATER AND 50% DISTILLED OR

EMINERALISED WATER.
Never use battery topping up fluid or water containing any substances like starch, sugar, fragrant
additives or defrosted water from a refrigerator.

OTE: Please see point 2 of ‘Exclusions’ on page 8.
Plug in the iron and switch on at the mains.
The iron will default to the IntelliTemp setting
every time the iron is switched on. If required,
press the ‘SELECT’ button to select the MAX
setting and to toggle between the two settings
(see ‘Temperature Guide’ on page 3).
The appropriate light flashes until the
temperature is reached, and then the iron
beeps.
Vary the steam output using the variable steam
switch
(1), as shown above.
We recommend using a low steam setting when
IntelliTemp is selected. Use MAX steam when
the MAX temperature is selected.

For stubborn creases, use the water spray

If using for the first time, you may need to
press this a few times to pull the water

Press the steam boost trigger

for an extra
steam burst for stubborn creases / heavy fabrics.
NOTE: If you need to use the steam boost whilst
dry ironing, check the variable steam switch

’ and add water.
NOTE: For optimum steam quality, do not operate
the shot more than three times in succession
