Why does my Motomaster Inverter shut down?
    • J
      Juan DavidsonAug 3, 2025
The Motomaster Inverter might shut down because the battery voltage is below 10.5 V. To prevent this, ensure the input voltage remains above 10.5 V. Alternatively, a weak battery condition or excessive voltage drop could be the cause. In this case, charge or replace the battery, use a lower gauge (heavier) cable, and keep the cable length as short as possible. Also, the inverter might be overheating and in thermal shutdown mode. Allow it to cool, ensure adequate ventilation, and reduce the load to the rated continuous power. If the problem continues, it might be defective, and you should consider contacting customer service.

What to do if my Motomaster Eliminator 011-2102-0 Inverter has no input voltage?
    • J
      Joel AbbottAug 17, 2025
If your Motomaster Inverter has no input voltage, it could be due to poor contact with the battery terminals. Shut down the inverter, disconnect it, thoroughly clean the terminals, and then reconnect. Another possibility is blown DC battery fuse(s). Turn off the inverter, identify and fix the underlying problem, and replace the fuse(s) with the same type and rating. Lastly, the battery voltage might be below 10 V. In this case, charge or replace the battery.
