c Click Add New Entitlement To Your Account.
d Copy and paste the Entitlement ID without leading or trailing spaces.
e Click Map ID.
Clicking Manage Entitlements shows the available options.
3 Activate a device.
a Log on to your device.
b Go to Manage Devicesand perform one of following actions:
• To create a Server device, select the Servers tab.
• To create a Client device, remain on the Client tab.
• For already existing devices, select the Device ID and skip to step 3g.
Check with product support to determine if your device should be registered as a Client or a
Server.
c Click Register Client.
d Enter the Device ID.
The Device ID is the same as the Host ID.
e Set the Host type to device.
f Click Submit and Save.
g Click Add Entitlement Line Item.
h Select an Activation ID/Feature that you want to activate on that device.
i Increase Requested copies to a required amount.
j Click Generate License.
k At the prompt whether you have a request file, select No.
l Click Generate.
The next page gives you the download link.

Contact product support for instructions on using the license file within your product.
IMPORTANT: After an entitlement is fully activated, it no longer appears on the Manage
Entitlements page, only on the Manage Devices page.
After an entitlement is activated on a device, there is no ability to deactivate or return the query.
Never try to remove a line item from a device. If you have incorrectly created a device or need
an entitlement rehosted, contact sdstools@motorolasolutions.com with the old device
information and new device information.

Prerequisites:Ensure that:
• You received an email with the entitlement ID to the address entered in the software order.
• You have the Motorola Solutions online services user account.
• The system administrator added you to the MyView Portal.
