Motorola solutions DIMETRA Express - Importing ESET Antivirus Signatures; Configuring a Password for the Av-User

• Obtain the ESET Antivirus license(s).
Procedure:
1 Log on to the DIMETRA Express Network Manager. See Logging On to the DIMETRA Express
Network Manager on page 41.
2 From the System Settings tab, select General→Antivirus.
3 Click Import License.
4 Browse to the antivirus license file.
5 Select the file and click Open.
6 Click Apply.

Importing ESET Antivirus Signatures
In a redundant setup, perform the procedure only on the active DIMETRA Express server. The
signatures are synchronized between the servers automatically.
Prerequisites:
• Obtain the latest ESET Antivirus signatures provided by Motorola Solutions.
Procedure:
1 Log on to the DIMETRA Express Network Manager. See Logging On to the DIMETRA Express
Network Manager on page 41.
NOTICE: In a redundant setup, log on to the active DIMETRA Express server.
2 From the System Settings tab, select General→Antivirus.
3 Click Import Signatures.
4 Browse to the latest antivirus signatures file.
5 Select the file and click Open.
The new signature synchronization process might take up to several hours, depending on the
system load.

Configuring a Password for the av-user
Follow this procedure to change the av-user password.
The default av-user password is motorola
For security reasons, it is recommended to change the password.
Procedure:
1 Log on to the DIMETRA Express Network Manager. See Logging On to the DIMETRA Express
Network Manager on page 41.
2 From the System Settings tab, expand the Maintenance node.
3 Select the Passwords tab.
4 From the User Name drop-down list, select av-user.
5 In the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, enter the password.
