Problem Possible Solution(s) Reference
The control station will not key the 
mobile.
No Transmit LED.
Check the cabling to the radio and the 
control station.
Ensure proper radio programming.
Verify Fuse is OK.

page 3-2.
The Monitor LED is always “ON”. The control station by default expects 
a desk mic. If another audio accessory 
is to be used, reprogram switch set-
tings accordingly.

Desk Mic does not provide Intercom 
audio.
The desk mic must have a jumper in-
stalled to allow proper operation.

Receive Audio is distorted. Ensure that Accessory Configuration/
RX Audio on the radio is set for Fil-
tered Audio.

Unable to communicate with field ra-
dios.
Ensure radios are programmed with 
the correct TPL/DPL code.
Verify correct I/O programming of the 
accessory connector of the control sta-
tion radio.
