Record videos
Record a video
1. Open the camera:
Twist your phone twice from any screen to open the camera immediately.
Or, tap .

Touch to switch to video mode.
3. If needed, adjust settings:
To record a selfie video, tap .
To turn the light on, tap .
To use location tags, tap and turn GPS location info on .
To change video resolution, tap and tap Video size for the front or rear camera. Lower
resolution videos take up less space, but have lower image quality.

To start, tap .
5. While recording, you can:
Take a photo during your video by tapping .
Pause recording by tapping .

To stop, tap .
Record a timelapse video
1. Attach a tripod or set up your phone so that it can’t move while you record.
2. On the viewfinder, swipe sideways to More and tap Timelapse.
3.
Tap .
4. Use the slider to select the speed multiplier. In general, use a faster speed for longer videos.
5.
To start, tap .
You’ll see two counters, one that shows the duration of the recording and another that shows the
duration the video will play when sped up.
6.
To stop, tap .
Share a video you've just taken
1.
In the Camera app, swipe the viewfinder screen to the left, and touch the video to share.
