Lock and hide files
In addition to locking your screen, you can also lock sensitive files, with a separate unlock pattern for files.
When you have locked a file:

It won’t appear in any apps.
•
To access the file in any app, you’ll need to unlock it in Settings.
Set up files and unlock pattern
1. Go to Settings > Security > Advanced > Data Protection.
2. Follow onscreen instructions to set the unlock pattern you’ll use to access your protected files.

To add files, touch , navigate to the file(s), touch to select, then touch .
Unlock files, make visible in app
1. Go to Settings > Security > Advanced > Data Protection.
2. Draw your unlock pattern.

Open the folder containing the files, then touch .
4.
Touch files to select them, and touch .
5. Open the appropriate app to view and use the unlocked files.

Change unlock pattern
1. Go to Settings > Security > Advanced > Data Protection.
2. Draw your unlock pattern.

Touch > Change pattern.
4. Follow onscreen instructions to set a new pattern.
View file unlock history
1. Go to Settings > Security > Advanced > Data Protection.
2. Draw your unlock pattern.
3.
Touch > Unlock history.
