Option 1: Removing the Knob using the Knob Opener
Prerequisites: Recommended tools:
• Knob opener (Part number: TL000081A01)
Procedure:
1 Hold the radio in one hand so that the top of the radio faces upward, and the front of the radio
faces you.
2 With the other hand, slide the knob opener into the knob from the left. With the knob opener
firmly latching onto the knob, push the knob upwards away from the encoder.
NOTE: Pay attention on the knob opener direction and the sequence of the knobs
removal.

Option 2: Removing the Knob Manually
Procedure:
1 Hold the radio in one hand so that the top of the radio faces upward, and the front of the radio
faces you.
2 Grasp the knob with the other hand and pull it upwards until the knob is free from the encoder.
