Entering Numbers
To enter a number in the address book, press the
corresponding number key.
Entering Text (Letters and Digits)
To enter alias text in an address book or text in messages,
press the key labelled with the desired character, once for the
first character, twice for the second, and so on. The key has
additional characters (see page 16).
Editing the Text
Aliases (Names)
Aliases are optional names that you can assign to stored
phone and private numbers (or IDs).
Aliases can be up to 14 characters in length and may consist
of letters, numbers, or spaces.
Aliases are displayed during memory list scrolling. Aliases
are also used to retrieve numbers from your memory list.

Move the cursor one character
to the right
Press , press a new key, or
wait for a short time
Move the cursor from the end
of the text to its beginning
Press and hold
Move the cursor to a character
on the left

Delete a character left to the
cursor position
Press Clear
