How to fix Motorola Cell Phone that will not turn on?
- Eerik19Aug 21, 2025
If your Motorola Cell Phone won't turn on or stay on, the battery might be the issue. First, measure the battery voltage across a 50 ohm load. If it's less than 3.25 Vdc, recharge it. If it won't recharge, replace the battery. Also, check the battery terminals for misalignment or damage, and realign or replace the battery if needed. If the battery isn't the problem, the keypad may be defective and needs replacement. You can test this by temporarily connecting a +3.6 Vdc supply to the battery terminals and pressing the power button.
