2 Using the Volume knob (W4)
or the Vol rocker switch (W5,
W7, W9), adjust the volume
to a comfortable listening
level.
In conventional modes and, if
enabled, in trunking modes,
the BUSY light blinks and the
radio unmutes when the
radio is receiving a private
message.
Note: The secure on/off state does not affect received messages.
The radio automatically receives coded or clear messages.
