Clearing Emergency Alert List
An Emergency Alert in the Emergency Alert List is cleared automatically when a corresponding
Cancelled-Emergency Alert is received and if you power cycle your radio.
Procedure:
Press and hold the Menu/Programmable
button on the Emergency Alert Alias.
• A tone sounds.
• Voice Announcement sounds.
When all Emergency Alerts clears, your radio shows the following indications:
• The amber LED extinguishes.
• Emergency Alert List icon disappears from the status bar.
