5. Catalytic sensors can be poisoned by high levels or long
exposure to certain substances present in the atmosphere
being monitored. When a catalytic sensor is installed in a
place where those substances may be present, to ensure
the correct operation and measurement accuracy the
sensors must be re-calibrated after exposure of these
substances.
6. Note that the sensor opening (sintered disc) must always
face downwards.
7. Screened 3- or 5-core cable with a coverage of at least
80% is to be used to connect the sensor signal.
8. Strict adherence to the specifications and regulations
applicable to installation, start-up, operation, and
maintenance is required.
