USB 1.1:
The 845 Ultra-ARU mainboard comes with one standard USB 1.1 pin header
USB3 that is compliant to Intel
®
I/O Connectivity Design Guide. An op-
tional JUSB2 header (MSI spec) would be available upon request.
USB 2.0:
The 845 Ultra-ARU additionally provides two USB 2.0 pin headers JUSB3 &
JUSB4 (optional USB 2.0 Bracket available). USB 2.0 technology increases
data transfer rate up to a maximum throughput of 480Mbps, which is 40
times faster than USB 1.1, and is ideal for connecting high-speed USB inter-
face peripherals such as USB HDD, digital cameras, MP3 players, printers,
modems and the like. It is not recommended to connect low-speed USB
legacy keyboard and mouse to the USB 2.0 ports. You should connect the
USB legacy devices to the USB rear ports.
