      Your MTD snow blower engine might fail to start due to several reasons: * The choke might not be in the ON position; if so, move the choke to the ON position. * The spark plug wire might be disconnected; if so, connect the wire to the spark plug. * The fuel tank might be empty or contain stale fuel; if so, fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. * The engine might not be primed; if so, prime the engine as instructed. * The spark plug might be faulty; if so, clean, adjust the gap, or replace it. * The fuel line might be blocked; if so, clean the fuel line. * The safety key might not be fully inserted into the ignition; if so, fully insert the key into the switch. * The fuel shut-off valve might be closed; if so, open the fuel shut-off valve.
