Wiring harness
To remove/replace the harness:
1. Disconnect the harness from the key switch.
NOTE: The harness is a tight fit. It may be necessary to
remove the key switch to get enough leverage to
unplug it.
2. Cut off the wire ties that hold the harness to the han-
dle bars.
3. Remove the battery box cover.
4. Disconnect positive and negative battery leads.
See Figure 6.13.
5. Slide the charger port out of the battery box.
6. Lift the harness out of the battery box.
7. Disconnect the harness from the engine connector.
See Figure 6.14.
8. Install the harness by following the previous steps in
reverse order.
NOTE: Use new wire ties to secure the harness to the
handle bars.
9. Test run the mower in a safe area before returning it
to service.
