8.8.1 Fuel filter – Replacement
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING
Fuels are combustible and explosive.
Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, and safety glasses / facial protection.
Replacing fuel filter
1. Remove easy-change filter using the filter
wrench.
2. Clean the sealing surface on the bracket.
3. Fill the new easy-change filter with clean fuel.
4. Install and tighten easy-change filter by hand.
5. Vent fuel system (→ Page 100).
