8.10.2 Air filter – Removal and installation
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
Variant A
1. Loosen clamp (2).
2. Remove air filter (1) and clamp (2) from con-
necting flange of intake housing (3).
3. Verify that there are no objects in the flange
of the intake housing (3) and clean it.
4. Fit air filter (1) and clamp (2) on connecting
flange of intake housing (3).
5. Tighten clamp (2).
Variant B
1. Release latches (1).
2. Take off cover (2).
3. Remove filter insert (3) and filter element (4).
4. Wipe out filter housing (5) and cover (2) with
moist cloth.
5. Insert new filter element (4) and filter in-
sert (3).
6. For installation, follow reverse sequence of
working steps.
