A dull knife: you will need to
draw each side of a blade
7-9 times through Stage 1,
and then 2-4 times through
Stage 2.
A semi-dull knife: you will
need to draw each side of
the blade 4-6 times through
Stage 1, and then 2-4 times
through Stage 2.
Note: Each draw should last
3-5 sec for a steel knife, and
6-8 sec for a ceramic knife.
8. When sharpening is
completed, turn the unit off
by pressing the symbol “O”
on the Power Switch.

ATTENTION! This appliance has an overheat protection.
The knife sharpener will turn OFF automatically once the
motor temperature reaches 221
°F / 105°C. This safety
feature CANNOT be overrun by unplugging and plugging
back into the power outlet.
ATTENTION! DO NOT use this knife sharpener for more
than 10 minutes at the time. Wait at least 90 min before
the 2nd run. Allow the motor to cool down to prevent
frequent auto shut-off due to overheating protection.
