8. TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES
Please read the safety recommendations before use.
There must be no voltage in the circuit.
The batteries must be replaced when the icon (17) is
displayed:
1. Disconnect the contact points.
2. Set the commutator to OFF.
3. Remove the fixing screws and the battery
compartment cover. Replace both the 1.5V AAA / LR3
batteries, paying careful attention to the polarities.
4. Replace the cover and fasten the screws.
NB: Remove the batteries if the multimeter will not be
used for a prolonged time.
