7.4 Measuring 400 mA Current (and Frequency)
Read the safety guidelines before use.
Autoranging or manual ranging: 40 mA and 400 mA AC and DC
(2 ranges).
1. Set the switch to 400 mA.
2. Press the FUNC. key to measure an alternating current.
3. Read the value of the current once it has stabilised.
The symbol indicates a reversal of polarity of the probes.
"OL" indicates an overrange.
Press the Hz key to change successively to frequency
measurements, then cyclical ratio measurements, before returning
to AC voltage measurements.
7.5 Measuring 10 A Current
Read the safety guidelines before use.
Never work on circuits that are not protected against
overvoltages above 10 A (by fuses or circuit breakers).
Measuring ranges: 10 A
AC
and A
DC
(1 range).
1. Set the switch to 10A.
2. Press the FUNC. key to measure an alternating current.
3. Read the value of the current once it has stabilised.
The symbol indicates a reversal of polarity of the probes.
"OL" indicates an overrange.
7.6 Resistance Measurements
Read the safety guidelines before use. The circuit must
be without power.
Automatic or manual measurement ranges: 400 to 40 M
(6 ranges).
Set the switch to . "OL" indicates an overrange.
