7.7 Diode Tests

Set the switch to and press FUNC. twice to display .
The instrument beeps when the circuit under test is continuous or
when circuit resistance is less than 40 ohms ± 10 ohms.
7.9 Capacitance Measurements
Read the safety guidelines before use. The circuit must
be without power.
Automatic or manual measurement ranges: 4 nF to 200 µF
(6 ranges).
Set the switch to and press FUNC. three times to display
"OL" indicates an overrange.
7.10 Frequency and Cyclic Ratio Measurements
Read the safety guidelines before use.
Automatic or manual measurement ranges: 9.999 Hz to 199.9 kHz
(6 ranges).
The frequency measurement function can be activated in two
ways:
A – Press the Hz% key, with the switch set to V or 400 mA, to
measure up to 400 mA, or with the switch position 0.5 V-
600 V

, to measure from 0 to 40 kHz.
B – Set the switch to Hz, to measure from 0 to 200 kHz on 0.5.-
10 V
