Connecting the Ground
The nut and ground terminal on the generators should always be used to connect the generators to a suitable ground. The
ground cable should be #8 size wire minimum.
At the generator, connect the terminal of the ground cable between the lock washer and the nut (Figure 4) and tighten the
nut fully. Connect the other end of the ground cable to a suitable earth ground (ground rod).
