e) i) For RPR 551IS - Detune L2, L101 and C121.
ii) For RPR 552IS - Detune L2, C202, C209 and C212.
iii) For RPR 553IS - Detune L2, C314 and C327.
f) Apply a signal of 0dBm on the channel frequency modulated with 1kHz at a
deviation of 3kHz for 20/25kHz channel spacing and 1.5kHz for 10/12.5kHz channel
spacing.
g) Switch the SINAD meter to read AC volts and adjust L2 for maximum reading ().
i) For RPR 551IS - >25mV.
ii) For RPR 552IS/553IS - >30mV.
h) Apply a signal on the channel frequency modulated with 1kHz at a deviation of 3kHz
for 20/25kHz channel spacing and 1.5kHz for 10/12.5kHz channel spacing. Adjust
the following components for a maximum reading on the AC millivoltmeter (
45mV).
This is not applicable to RPR 551IS.
i) For RPR 552IS - Signal level is -20dBm. Adjust C209.
ii) For RPR 553IS - Signal level is -60dBm. Adjust C314.
j) Change the meter back to SINAD and:
i) Adjust L101 for 12dB SINAD with minimum input signal.
ii) Adjust C212 for 12dB SINAD with minimum input signal.
This is not applicable to RPR 553IS.
k) Fit a dummy case front (see Figure 16) and connect the lead from the SINAD meter
to SK2.
i) For RPR 551IS - Adjust C121 for 12dB SINAD with minimum input signal.
ii) For RPR 552IS - Adjust C202 for 12dB SINAD with minimum input signal.
iii) For RPR 553IS - Adjust C327 for 12dB SINAD with minimum input signal.
l) The expected level should be better than -90dBm.
