RHLH FRONTAL 6,4 s Frontal cross-section view of both tem-
poromandibular joints; this exam called
“frontal” is obtained through a posterior-
anterior projection of the area under ex-
amination.
FRONTAL RH3 9,6 s Similar to the frontal one but regarding
only the right joint, three sections are
taken at different angles to obtain the
best view of the anatomy.
FRONTAL LH3 9,6 s Similar to the frontal one but regarding
only the left joint, three sections are tak-
en at different angles to obtain the best
anatomical view.
LATERAL RHLH 6.4 s Sectional view (along the longest axis of
the mandibular condiles) of both tempo-
romandibular joints.
LATERAL RH3 9.6 s Similar to the lateral one but regarding
only the right joint, three sections are
taken at different angles to obtain the
best view of the anatomy.
LATERAL LH3 9.6 s Similar to the lateral one but regarding
only the left joint, three sections are tak-
en at different angles to obtain the best

DUAL RHLH 12,8 s Both frontal and lateral images of both
the right and left joints (total of four sec-

SINUS 6.2 s Linear scan of skull in posterior-anterior
view at the level of the sinuses.
SINUS RH 2.6 s Linear scan of skull in lateral view at the
level of only the right sinuses.
SINUS LH 2.6 s Linear scan of skull in lateral view at the
level of only the left sinuses.
