Bank terminology
• Terminal ID
This is the number that uniquely identies each EFTPOS terminal.
• Merchant ID
This number uniquely identies each merchant.
• POS AME
This number is unique to each Argent leased line. This number is often
called a Tran$end ID, a Telstra ID, or an Argent Terminal ID. The number
can be anywhere from 6 to 10 digits in length.
