In response to the unprecedented global supply chain backlog and to provide our customers with product where
possible, Napoleon will begin oering an electronic ignion alternave on the B36, B42, GX36 and GX42 models
for sale in all regions. While this change does not aect the overall look or performance of the replace, it is
something you need to be aware of from a sales and service standpoint.
We want to ensure your team is aware of some dierences between the SIT electronic ignion system used in the
B36NTRE-1, B42NTRE, GX36NTRE and GX42NTRE and the new Dexen alternate system that we are introducing
in the B36NTREA-1, B42NTREA, GX36NTREA and GX42NTREA. Knowing these dierences will be key to providing
clear communicaon with your customers.
Your sales team will need to know that the EFCN/EFCP remote opon is not compable with the B36NTREA-1,
B42NTREA, GX36NTREA and GX42NTREA models and that an an-condensaon switch (ACS) is not available.
If a remote opon is required, the F45/F60 will need to be purchased. You will also need to be aware that the
following opons for these models are dierent and ask them to refer to the list below.
