6.4 Disposal
This product is subject to European Guideline 2002/96/EC governing the
disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
Do not dispose of this instrument with the normal household waste. You
should dispose of it in accordance with the waste disposal ordinances in
your country.
Within the European Union, all electronic measuring systems purchased from
Narda after 13th August 2005 can be returned when they reach the end of
their useful life. The measuring systems that come under this regulation or
the documents that accompany them are clearly marked with the symbol of
a garbage bin crossed out with black lines. You can obtain further information
from your local Narda Sales Partner or at: www.narda-sts.com.
CAUTION
Your Nardalert S3 contains a Lithium ion battery pack.
There is a risk of re and burns if the battery pack is handled
improperly.
Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, or
dispose of in re or water.
Do not attempt to open or service the battery pack.
Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product.
Recycle or dispose of batteries properly. Do not discard with
your regular trash.
