The Narwal T10 is a sophisticated robot mop and vacuum designed to provide a hands-free cleaning experience for your home. This innovative device combines both sweeping and mopping functionalities, ensuring comprehensive floor care. It operates from a self-cleaning station, which manages water and mop cleaning, significantly reducing manual intervention.
Function Description:
The Narwal T10 is a dual-function robot, capable of both vacuuming and mopping. When in vacuuming mode, it utilizes a sweeping module with side brushes and a suction inlet to collect dust and debris. For mopping, it employs two rotating mopping modules that are automatically cleaned and re-wet by the base station during the cleaning cycle, ensuring effective and hygienic mopping. The robot is equipped with advanced navigation features, including a lidar sensor, wall sensors, and obstacle avoidance sensors, allowing it to accurately map your home and navigate around furniture and other objects. Cliff sensors prevent it from falling off elevated surfaces. The base station serves as the robot's home, charging point, and self-cleaning hub, managing clean and dirty water tanks and washing the mopping pads.
Usage Features:
The Narwal T10 offers intuitive operation through both the robot itself and its base station.
- Power On/Off: The robot can be turned on or off by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds. The base station also has a power button.
- Starting/Pausing/Ending Tasks: A short press of the start button on either the robot or the base station initiates or pauses a cleaning task. Pressing and holding the start button for 2 seconds ends the current task.
- Mapping: To create a map of your home, long-press the home button on the base station. The robot will then scan all rooms, outline the house, and return to the base station for room division and charging. It's crucial not to move the base station after mapping to avoid map rebuilding. The sweeping module must be installed for mapping.
- Vacuuming: To vacuum, install the sweeping module and short-press the start button. The robot will automatically return to the base station for charging after completing the task.
- Mopping: For mopping, attach the mopping modules. Short-press the start button to begin. During mopping, the robot periodically returns to the base station to wash its mops, ensuring they remain clean. After mopping, it returns to the base station for charging. Users should add a proper amount of water to the clean water tank before mopping and empty the sewage tank afterward. Only special detergent designed for this product should be used.
- Cleaning Path Optimization: By default, the robot vacuums from the room closest to the base station. For mopping, it cleans from the farthest room first to prevent secondary contamination.
- Obstacle Navigation: The robot can traverse obstacles less than 1.5 cm in height.
- No-Go Zones: Magnetic strips can be placed in areas where you do not wish the robot to clean, providing a physical barrier.
- Child Lock: The base station panel can be locked or unlocked by pressing and holding both the home button and the start button for 2 seconds, preventing accidental operation.
- Low Power Mode: The robot enters a low power mode after 15 minutes of standby without a task, or if a task is paused/error status persists for over 2 hours, or if the power drops below 15%. It will not start a task if the power is too low and requires charging.
- Wi-Fi Reset: Wi-Fi can be reset by pressing and holding the power button and start button for 2 seconds.
- Factory Reset: A factory reset, which deletes all robot data and requires reconfiguration, can be performed by pressing and holding the reset button for 3 seconds.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the Narwal T10 operates efficiently and effectively.
- Dust Bin: The dust bin, located under the robot's top cover, should be regularly emptied. It features a filter and filter buckle for easy removal and cleaning.
- Cleaning Modules: Both the sweeping and mopping modules are designed for easy installation and removal. The sweeping module has a module lid and side brushes that can be cleaned. The mopping modules consist of mops attached with velcro, which can be detached for washing.
- Base Station Tanks: The base station contains a clean water tank and a sewage tank. These tanks should be regularly filled (clean water) and emptied (sewage) to maintain optimal performance. The tanks have handles and buckles for easy removal.
- Filters: The base station also includes a filter sponge, which should be cleaned periodically.
- Washboard: The washboard within the base station, where the mops are cleaned, should not be moved while the robot is working.
- General Cleaning: The robot and base station should be cleaned or maintained during shutdown or when powered off. Avoid wiping any part of the robot with a damp cloth or liquid.
- Accessory Care: Keep accessories like the sweeping and mopping modules out of children's reach.
- Battery: The product uses specific batteries, chargers, and charging docks. Do not use third-party alternatives. If the product is discarded, the battery must be removed while the robot is turned off and disposed of by a professional recycling agency. Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification of the robot, base station, or batteries is prohibited.
- Power Cord: If the power cord is damaged, stop using the product immediately and contact customer service.
- Transportation: When transporting the product, ensure the robot is turned off, and it is recommended to use the original packaging.
- Safety: Do not allow the robot to inhale hard or sharp objects. Keep hair, fingers, and other body parts away from moving parts like the side brush, lidar, suction port, or cleaning ribs when the product is operating. Avoid placing objects, including humans and pets, on stationary or moving robots. Do not use the robot to clean burning objects or long wool carpets. Do not place the robot near heat or water sources.
