Note The ExpressCard-8360 (Part Number 192290x-01) has the same architecture
as the 198266x-01L version, except that it uses a signal buffer instead of a
PCI Express switch.
Basic MXI-Express x1 Systems
The simplest MXI-Express x1 system can consist of a host board

connected to a target board

installed in the controller slot of a chassis or integrated port of a chassis. Some example
configurations are shown in Figure 1-13, and Table 1-2 lists all connectivity options going from
a host PC to a chassis.
