Overview

The NAVEE Electric Scooter N65 is a personal leisure device designed for urban transportation, offering a blend of convenience, safety, and performance. It is intended for use by individuals aged 16 to 50, with a body length between 1.2 m and 2.0 m, and a maximum load capacity of 120 kg (including luggage). The scooter is designed for single-person use and is not intended for acrobatic activities or carrying additional passengers.

Function Description

The scooter operates on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, providing electric assistance for propulsion. It features a power button for turning the device on/off and controlling the headlight and tail light. A gear switch allows riders to select different speed modes, adapting to various riding conditions. The dashboard provides essential information such as cruise control status, real-time speed, headlight indicator, acceleration force, error notifications, lock status, gear status, Bluetooth connectivity, walking mode, total mileage, battery level, single-trip mileage, and voltage display.

The scooter is equipped with both front-wheel electromagnetic braking and rear-wheel friction braking, activated by a brake lever. The braking system is designed to power off the accelerator immediately upon engagement, with the braking force proportional to the grip angle. A scooter bell is included for alerting pedestrians and other road users. For safety, the scooter features a head light and a rear light, enhancing visibility, especially during low-light conditions. Side reflectors further contribute to the rider's visibility.

The folding mechanism allows for compact storage and portability. The stem, which houses the handlebar, can be folded down, and a pin system secures the scooter in its folded state. A kickstand provides stability when parking the scooter.

Usage Features

Before riding, it is crucial to perform a thorough check of the scooter, ensuring the folding safety lock is engaged, screws are tightened, and all linkage parts are secure. Riders must wear a safety helmet and appropriate protective gear, such as elbow and knee pads. Comfortable, flat-heeled or athletic shoes are recommended. Riding barefoot or in high-heeled shoes is prohibited.

To start riding, the scooter is turned on by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds. One foot is placed on the deck, and the other remains on the ground. The scooter is then slid forward, and the accelerator is gently pressed to initiate movement. Once the scooter is moving smoothly, the second foot can be placed on the pedal. The acceleration angle dictates the scooter's speed.

Riders should choose open, flat, and smooth spaces for practice and avoid crowded areas, traffic lanes, or residential areas where vehicles and pedestrians are both allowed. When passing pedestrians, it is recommended to ring the bell and slow down, passing from their left (in countries where vehicles drive on the right). Crossing protected passages should be done while walking alongside the scooter.

The maximum speed of the scooter is limited to 25 km/h, but local regulations regarding maximum speed must always be observed. Riding in bad weather, low visibility, or after intense physical exertion is discouraged. The scooter should not be ridden over obstacles higher than 3 cm, and even smaller obstacles should be avoided if possible. Parking on inclines is not recommended.

For safety, riders should maintain speeds within 25 km/h. When riding at night, lights must be turned on, and speeds should be kept at 15 km/h or less. The scooter is not designed for riding in snow, rain, mud, icy, or wet roads, or over loose gravel or road blockages, as this can lead to loss of balance or grip. Immersion in water deeper than 4 cm (1.57 inches) should be avoided to prevent battery damage. Riding on surfaces with oil or ice is also prohibited.

The scooter should not be used beyond its maximum load capacity of 120 kg (264.6 lbs). It is important to avoid hanging or placing objects on the handlebars or body while riding, as this can affect stability. The product should not be used or stored in environments where the temperature is above 40 °C (104 °F) or below -10 °C (14 °F), and it should be kept away from flammable items to mitigate fire risks.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential for the longevity and safe operation of the NAVEE N65.

Lubrication: Every 6 months, a small amount of grease or lubricant should be applied to the folding part. The tightness of all screws on the scooter should be checked every 3 months, and any loose screws should be tightened.

Battery: Before the first use, the battery should be fully charged. If the scooter is not used for an extended period, it should be charged at least every 3 months to maintain battery health. Only the original charger provided with the appliance should be used for recharging. Charging should occur at ambient temperatures between 0-45 °C (32-104 °F). The scooter body should be kept away from heat sources, open flames, and flammable/explosive gases during charging. The LED on the charger indicates charging status (red for charging, green for fully charged).

Storage and Daily Maintenance: The scooter must always be turned off before cleaning. It should not be left in direct sunlight or wet places for extended periods. The scooter should be kept clean, but high-pressure hoses, nozzles, corrosive soaps, or solvents should not be used for cleaning.

Tire Inflation: Tire pressure should be checked monthly and inflated if too low. The recommended tire pressure is 35 psi.

Modifications: No modifications or refitting of the scooter, including the steering column, sleeve, rod, folding parts, and rear brake assembly, should be attempted. Using non-manufacturer-approved replacement parts or allowing repairs by unauthorized third parties is prohibited.

Regular Checks: It is recommended to regularly check the folding device, shock absorber, wheels, and axles for wear and replace them promptly if needed. The frame and front fork should also be checked regularly, and screws should be cleaned and tightened if they become loose due to long-term use. Any parts that fail, are damaged, or malfunction should be replaced. Parts exceeding their expected service life should also be replaced in due time.

In case of any error messages displayed on the screen, a troubleshooting table is provided in the manual to help identify and resolve issues, such as communication failures, braking errors, accelerator errors, wheel motor errors, controller errors, or overheating warnings. If problems persist after following the troubleshooting steps, professional support from the manufacturer or dealer should be sought.
