totestbasicfunctionalityofthedieselparticulatelter.Thisisto
bedonepriortoremovingtheDPF .
1.Thetransmissionmustbeinneutralandtheparking
brakeapplied.
2.Startandidletheengine.
3.Rapidlysnaptheacceleratorpedalfromidletofull
throttle.Thiscanbeperformedmultipletimes.
4.Duringtheengineaccelerations,visuallycheckfora
heavyblacksmokeexitingtheexhaustpipe.
