Installing the Hardware
This section shows how to connect a U170 device to peripheral equipment and to a host
PC.
Connecting Peripheral Devices
Refer to the illustrations below for information on the ports used to connect the U170 to
peripherals and to a host PC.
The U170 has two USB 2.0 connectors to support USB devices. These ports may be used to
connect to the following devices:
USB keyboard and mouse
Wireless keyboard adapter and an accessory port
A separate USB hub to support additional USB accessories
Note: USB devices (for example, flash memory drives) connected
downstream of a U170 will be assigned to the session logged in to that U170.
