The following list summarises a single pick operation cycle:

As the pick arm suction cups are about to touch the bills in the
cassette, the pick solenoid energizes and the vacuum is applied
to the suction cups
●
The pick arm suction cups then hit and hold the end bill within
the cassette
●
The pick arms swing up and away from the cassette, removing
the bill through the door opening and positioning it just above
the pick wheels
●
The bill is taken up between the pick and pressure wheels and
fed into the transport section.
