Unclip and remove the four E spacers from the base of the
cassette. Turn the two E spacers at the handle end of the cassette
through 90 degrees before pulling upwards.

If fitting fixed size spacers select four E9 spacers and proceed to
step 12. If using segment type spacers proceed with step 8.

Hold a new segment type E spacer on a work surface so that the
letter E and the numbers 1 to 15 can be read.

Use a sharp knife to cut the spacer just above the number 11 so
that you are left with a spacer that has the letter E and segments
up to number 9.
