The follo w in g is a description o f th e procedures you can use
with the p -S ystem to work with your mouse.
The softw a re you need fo r using th e Mouse in te rfa ce and
working with th e Mouse in th e p -S y stem is contained in the
MO USE.CO DE f i l e . I f you h a ve a Run tim e System
MOUSE.CODE is in corporated in your SYS TE M .LIB RARY . Ii
you have a Plus System, you have to in sert this code in youi
SYSTE M .LIB R A R Y, in any o f slots 0 through 15. Chapter 6,
ut ilit y 'L IB R A R Y ' in the 'UCSD p-System , Programming' Manual
describes how th is is done.
The in te rfa ce p a rt o f the Mouse unit a ffo rd s access t o the
follo w in g procedures:
GMOUS: giv es th e status o f th e Mouse sw itches anc
Mouse position. This procedure supplies the
absolute position (x and y coordin ates) o f the
Mouse and th e status o f th e sw itch (es) (up tc
3 ). Use aH th re e sw itch variables, even ii
your Mouse has only one o r tw o sw itches.
X,Y: absolute x and y coordinates
SWl,SW2,SW3: status o f th e Mouse sw itches (1 = pressed, £
= n ot p re y e d or not existen t)
SETPOS: sets th e lo g ic a l position o f th e Mouse.
X,Y: New x and y coordinates fo r the Mouse
